Designer thoughts: "What’s the story behind the KARLSTAD sofa cover in Husie orange? My starting point for creating the pattern was a traditional kilim carpet. I made some drawings of kilim patterns, and broke the drawings down into stripes. Then I put the stripes back together in a new order. Finally, when I combined two layers of stripes, they formed a check. I was really happy with the pattern. You get the feeling that the check will change when you look away for a moment. It has a classic yet playful element to it, which is not very easy to get with a check pattern. "
