You can place it in a cylinder shape, as pictured. Or it's actually like a felt placemat with little lights and some Velcro on the edges. This allows you to place two Kallts together to make a much larger cylinder, which would be perfect to cover the bottom of your tree, for example.
About 16" (40cm) high. Cord length is 6'3" (1.9m).
